Homestead: Starting Line Up for NASCAR Sprint Cup Series

NASCAR Qualifying Facts:

Carl Edwards won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 13th Annual FORD 400 with a lap of 30.775 seconds, 175.467 mph.  This is his 10th pole in 265 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races.  This is his third pole and 25th top-10 start in 2011.  This is his second pole in eight races at Homestead-Miami Speedway. He joins Kurt Busch, Jimmie

Johnson and Kasey Kahne atop the all-time poles list at Homestead.  In the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup era (2004-Present), three eventual champions have won the pole at Homestead: Kurt Busch in 2004 and Jimmie Johnson in 2007 and 2009.

Martin Truex Jr. (second) posted his 13th top-10 start of 2011 and his second in seven races at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Kasey Kahne (third) posted his sixth top-10 start at Homestead-Miami Speedway. It is his 20th in 36 races this season.

Championship contender Tony Stewart, second in points, qualified 15th.
